Why do you need to review CQRS submission data?

Because the data extraction is automated, there is the possibility that you won’t get paid for work done if you:

  • Have used incorrect codes for the work undertaken
  • Have given the vaccines to patients who aren’t eligible
  • Have given the vaccines in the wrong time period
  • And quite a few other circumstances!

Because of this it is advised to check your data each month, to ensure that your processes for identifying and vaccinating patients are accurate, and to correct any incorrect codes that have been used. The former won’t mean you get paid for the work done, but incorrect coding can be corrected prior to submission date (so you will still get paid for the work done).

Each patient you identify by doing this process will either:

  • result in the practice being paid £10.06 OR
  • result in the practice tightening up their processes/procedures to ensure that future vaccinations are paid £10.06 per patient (and identify how many patients you did work for that you didn’t get paid for last month
