Weekly Hints and Tips

QOF smoking indicators

Did you know?

For QOF smoking indicators (SMOK002, MH021), if a patient is 25 or over and has been recorded as an ex-smoker for 3 consecutive years, you do not need to record smoking status again! It is worth making sure that you record an ex-smoker’s status consistently every year to reduce the work in future years.

SystmOne Tip: Task Redirection when staff are on annual leave

When staff are annual leave or through sickness it can be helpful to have their tasks redirected. This stops important information being missed or delayed and can keep the tasks manageable. It can also be applied to notifications and pathology/radiology. They can be redirected to a staff group or a specific user and an end date also applied.
